A little about me…

After 10 years working as an HRIS Analyst, I was laid off by a terrible boss and was the most miserable I’d ever been.

Dreading going back to the corporate grind, I considered how to monetize the things I leaned into for happy brain chemicals: heavy metal concerts and knitting.

So I signed up for the Learn to Tech Edit Knitting Course and during the day I found work as an AV Technician. I’m currently studying for the CTS exam.

Putting myself on the internet to connect with other knitters and designers is both terrifying and exciting since I’ve struggled with social anxiety most of my life. I grew up as a neglected kid in a broken home and spent most of my adulthood with white knuckles.

I enjoy easy local hikes, kayaking gentle waters, and trying new recipes to cook and bake. I love to travel, but nearly never plan it for myself. I read recklessly and make to-do lists obsessively.
